This course provides the required training for California BSIS Baton Certification, allowing licensed security officers to lawfully carry and use a baton while on duty. Students will learn defensive tactics, proper handling and retention techniques, legal use-of-force considerations, and safety protocols. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a BSIS-issued Baton Certificate, valid statewide.
