Security Guard Card Course:  (In-Person)

This course meets the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) training requirements for the California Guard Card. Students will complete the mandatory 8-hour "Power to Arrest" and "Weapons of Mass Destruction Awareness" training, preparing them for entry-level roles in the private security industry.​​

Exposed Firearm Permit (Initial Permit)

Please Note: This is a two-day course

Meets California BSIS requirements for obtaining an Exposed Firearm Permit. Includes classroom instruction, legal training, and live-fire qualification. The PSI psychological exam must be completed before enrollment.

Please Note: Must have an active Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit

Fulfills the BSIS annual renewal requirement for Exposed Firearm Permit holders. Includes legal review and live-fire re-qualification to maintain active permit status.

BYRNA Launcher Certification (Less than Lethal)

Please Note: This is a four hour course

Provides training on the safe and effective use of the Byrna less-lethal launcher. Covers operational handling, legal considerations, and defensive deployment techniques. Ideal for private security and personal defense.

Chemical Agent Course (Pepper Spray)

Please Note: This is a four hour course

Covers BSIS-required training for security guards and civilians to carry and use OC (Pepper) spray. Includes deployment techniques, legal guidelines, and decontamination procedures. Certification issued upon completion.

California Concealed Carry Permit (Renewal)

San Diego/ Riverside Renewal Course

Fulfills the San Diego County Sheriff's Department requirement for renewing a California Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit. Includes 8 hours of instruction covering firearm safety, legal updates, and live-fire qualification with each firearm listed on your permit.

Applicants must complete this course and obtain a CCW Qualification Certificate before submitting their renewal application through CCW Pro.
